What you get

Before the callSend a few photos and the nearest address or crossroads. We run a Land Reading for your spot (soil, slope, rainfall, and frost dates) so the call starts with what the public data already says.
The call60 minutes on video. Walk us around with your phone if you can. Bring the question you keep asking every time you walk the land.
After the callWithin 3 business days, a short written summary: your top priorities, plant ideas suited to your climate, and the next step we'd take.

Who is it for?: Homeowners, homesteads, small farms, schools, and community spaces anywhere in the United States. It fits best when you have one place in mind and a few questions you can't settle on your own.
What it isn't: It isn't a site visit, a full design, or an installation quote. If you want those afterward, the call is the best way to start.
Does the fee count toward a design?: Yes. If you hire Altur for a design within 60 days of the call, the full $150 comes off the design fee.
How do I pick a time?: After you pay, we email you within 1 business day to set a time that works for you.
Cancelling and refunds: Cancel at least 24 hours before your call for a full refund. If we can't find a time together within 14 days of your payment, we refund you in full. You can reschedule once at no cost.
Is paying online safe?: Payment is handled by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. Altur never sees or stores your card number.
